I’ve got a story for you about my gal pal and hair magician, Stacie, and the family photo session we planned. Stacie has been making me look and feel like a million bucks for years, so I was beyond thrilled to return the favor in a big way.
After weeks of back-and-forth texts, we finally landed on the perfect spot: a tulip festival with over one million blooms!
Yeah, you read that right, One. MILLION!
I mean, holy moly, that’s a lot of flowers. We were ready to snap some seriously Insta-worthy pics.
We exchanged outfit ideas like we were fashion gurus and finally, the day arrived. The weather was perfect, the tulips were blooming, and we were ready to rock and roll.
Sure, the crowds were there, but I had some tricks up my sleeve to make it look like we had the entire place to ourselves. And let me tell you, those kids were posing like they were auditioning for America’s Next Top Model!
But the real stars of the show were Stacie and her hubby. They were giving us all kinds of relationship goals, and I was snapping away like a paparazzi.
And then, when Stacie and her daughter snuggled up amongst the tulips, it was like something out of a dream.
Dark clouds rolled in, but we didn’t even care because the lighting was absolutely stunning.
The colors were popping, the family was joyful, and I was on fire! As someone who’s usually behind the scenes, it was a blast to be the photographer and capture these epic moments for Stacie and her family.
In the end, we got some seriously epic shots that Stacie and her fam will treasure for years to come. It was such a fun experience, and I was honored to be the one to capture these special moments for my friend.
